Colombia, Dominican Republicans, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela to be removed from UK red list

39,849 new cases of corona and 1163 deaths in Russia

LONDON: The remaining seven countries will be removed from Corona's travel ban red list in the UK from Monday. Colombia, Dominican Republicans, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela will be removed from the UK red list on Monday. However, the red list has not been abolished but will be reviewed every three weeks and travel restrictions will be imposed on the country at risk of a new variant.

The Department of Transportation said that as the Delta variant became dominant in most countries of the world, the risk of its spread to the UK decreased. This is good news for tourists, business and the tourism sector, said UK Transport Minister Grant Shapes. India and the UK from the beginning of this month

Tourists with both corona vaccines no longer need to be in self-isolation. Tourists from countries included in the rate list have to stay in quarantine for ten days at a government-recognized place. All travelers will now have to fill up a passenger locator form before the trip. A total of 39,842 new cases of corona were reported in the UK on Thursday.

On the other hand, 2,30,144 new cases of corona were reported in the world, bringing the total number of corona cases to 246,482,501, while 3,865 deaths resulted in 49,99,836 corona deaths. A total of 46,685,145 cases were reported in the U.S., with 78,460 new cases of corona reported and 1,208 deaths, bringing the total number of corona deaths to 7,63,784, according to the WorldDometer website.

In Russia, 39,849 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours, with 1163 deaths. The total death toll in Russia has risen to 2,36,220. Out of Russia's total population of 146 million, only one-third of the population has been vaccinated against corona. Holidays have been declared from Saturday to November 7 as corona cases and deaths continue to rise due to the slow rate of vaccinations.

Meanwhile, according to the World Health Organization, only five of the 54 countries on the African continent can achieve the goal of vaccinating 40 per cent of the population by the end of the year. The goal, set in May, has been achieved by Seychelles, Mauritius and Morocco.

Now Tunisia and Cape Verde also seem to have achieved the target. Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa, on the other hand, are short of syringes needed to vaccinate against corona. Experts fear progress will be hampered by a shortage of syringes when corona vaccines begin to arrive early next year.

Africa still needs 275 million doses to meet the year-end target. Only six per cent of the population in Africa has been vaccinated, compared to more than 40 per cent in rich countries. Corona epidemics are rampant in ten African countries. A total of 8.5 million cases of corona have been reported in Africa, with 217,000 deaths.
