Terrorists killing non-Muslims in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dt

Terrorists stormed a government school in the heart of Srinagar's Safaqdal area on Thursday morning, killing a woman principal and a teacher, killing seven non-Muslims in the Kashmir Valley in broad daylight in the last five days. Citizens are said to have panicked. The Resistance Force has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Terrorists on Thursday premeditatedly killed two teachers of a government school in Idgah. A meeting of teachers was underway at the school to prepare for the next exam. The terrorists broke into the meeting and started asking the names of all the teachers. Apart from the local Muslim teachers, two non-Muslim teachers were kicked out of the meeting by the terrorists and shot dead on the school premises.

Terrorists broke into a government boys' higher secondary school at Idgah in the heart of Srinagar and shot dead female principals Supinder Kaur and Deepak Chand at 11.15 am. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The manner in which the terrorists killed the two in this incident makes it clear that the terrorists have again started creating an atmosphere of fear by killing non-Muslims, non-Kashmiris. Terrorists have killed seven civilians in the last five days alone. Just two days ago, terrorists shot dead Makhanlal Bindu, a well-known pharmacist from Srinagar, while he was on his way to his shop. A few hours later, a Panipuri man from Bihar was also killed at another place.

The 'Resistance Force' has recently emerged in the Kashmir Valley after the Modi government revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, a dangerous trend of terrorism is starting in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists have now started killing civilians by targeting instead of carrying out large-scale attacks. They are targeting non-Kashmiri, non-Muslims in particular. Something similar happened in the 1970's.

In fact, the number of terrorist attacks on security forces has come down since the special status of Jammu and Kashmir ended on August 9, 2014, but the number of terrorist attacks on civilians has increased. What started with the killing of non-Kashmiri laborers has now escalated to a targeted killing of Kashmiri Pandits with BJP leaders and sarpanches. Terrorists have killed seven civilians in the last five days, most of them minorities. So far this year, six civilians have been killed in terrorist attacks. This year, the highest number of 10 civilians have been attacked in Srinagar, 2-2 in Pulwama and Anantnag, 2 in Kulgam, 2 in Baramulla, 1-1 in Budgam and Bandipora. The important thing is that all these killings were targeted killings.
