Anas Haqqani's praise of Muhammad Ghaznavi for the demolition of the Somnath temple is controversial. Anas, who visited Muhammad Ghaznavi's mausoleum on Tuesday, also described the glory of Muhammad on his Twitter account after the visit. Such statements by Anas have caused a great deal of controversy on social media.

Haqqani, in his tweet, said that the great tenth century warrior and Sultan Muhammad Ghaznavi of the entire region had demolished the Somnath temple and smashed the Shivling.

It is well known that the Haqqani network has direct links to Pakistan's military intelligence agency, the ISI. So there may be other implications of Haqqani's praise.

Anas Haqqani, the leader of the younger generation of the Taliban, is the younger brother of Sirajuddin Haqqani, the founder and supreme leader of the Haqqani Network. A કરોડ 10 million bounty has also been announced for Sirajuddin's head.

Sirajuddin is known for raising funds from Arab countries. His younger brother Anas was arrested by the US and sentenced to five years in prison. He was released from prison in 2012.
