Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka responsible for Congress plight: Natwar Singh

The first time a senior leader has attacked in Rahul's name

Punjab captain Amarinder Singh, 52, is accused of being fired by Rahul

New Delhi: The position of the Congress has come to a standstill. Many senior party leaders are now publicly complaining against party president Sonia Gandhi, former president Rahul Gandhi and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

Senior leader Kapil Sibal indirectly targeted Sonia Gandhi and demanded a democratic election of the party president, which intensified political activity in the Congress.

After Kapil Sibal, Natwar Singh, another senior leader and former External Affairs Minister, also openly said that only Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were responsible for the current plight of the Congress.

In short, the attacks on the Congress high command from within the party do not stop. Natwar Singh said that nothing is going well in the Congress at present, and there are three people responsible for it, one of whom is Rahul Gandhi, as Rahul Gandhi does not have any position or position in the party at present but all the decisions of the party are taken by him.

Natwarsingh further said that now there is no meeting of the Congress executive or any meeting of the national executive. Continuing his attack on Rahul Gandhi, Singh said that former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, who has 52 years of experience, was fired by Rahul Gandhi for insulting him.

Directly attacking the top leadership of the Congress, Natwaringh said that the Congress had handed over the responsibility to Sidhu instead of Captain Amarinder Singh who could take any decision at any time.

He further said that once Sidhu had resigned as a Rajya Sabha MP and later approached Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Hamid Ansari and asked if he could withdraw his resignation.

However, Ansari said in no uncertain terms that his resignation could not be withdrawn. This is the first time that a senior Congress leader has publicly attacked Rahul Gandhi by naming him.
