Delhi Police arrested three accused

Corporate lobbyist Nira Radia accused of setting up a fake company to get a loan from Yes Bank

New Delhi: Delhi Police has summoned corporate lobbyist Nira Radia for questioning in connection with the alleged floating of a dummy company used to get a Rs 300 crore loan from Yes Bank.

Radia is accused of setting up a fake company to get a loan of Rs 312 crore from Yes Bank. In this connection, Delhi Police on Sunday arrested three accused named Yatish Wahal, Satish Kumar Narula of Ghaziabad and Rahul Singh Yadav of Gurugram.

According to police, Wahal and Narula Nayati are directors of Healthcare and Research NCR Pvt. The company was formed by Nira Radia. A case of fraud and criminal conspiracy has been registered against the three accused. During the interrogation of the trio, the police came to know that Radia had formed the company.

The Economic Crime Branch of the Delhi Police had busted a case worth Rs 312 crore in which the accused had taken loans worth crores of rupees from Yes Bank by showing fake companies. The loan was taken to build a hospital in Gurugram but in reality the money from this loan was not used to build a hospital.
