Notice to the Center of the High Court on the issue of Modi's image in the Corona vaccine certificate

Demand in Kerala High Court to remove Modi's image from certificate

New Delhi: A petitioner in the Kerala High Court has demanded that the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi be removed from the certificate issued for corona vaccination. In this case, the High Court has sent a notice to the Central Government seeking its reply.

Petitioner M Peter, a resident of Kottayam in Kerala, had argued in the High Court that the corona vaccine certificate should be issued without a picture of PM Modi. By affixing this picture, the basic rights of the citizen are being violated. High Court Judge PB Suresh Kumar has sent notices to both Kerala and the Center in this regard and sought a reply within two weeks.

The petitioner contends that even if I vaccinate my money at a private center, the certificate issued contains a picture of PM Modi. While such certificates issued in USA, Israel, Indonesia, Germany all these countries contain the required information. There are no pictures of PM or President. I have to show this certificate in many places and the picture of PM Modi on it is not relevant.
