On the controversy, BJP leader Amit Malviya said that Ram Navami falls in the month of Chaitra. In Shardiya Navratri, there is Mahanavami. This is the day of worship of Maa Durga. Then comes Dussehra. He reminded of firing on Karsevaks that those who do so start pretending to be Hindus as soon as the elections come. Ramnavami comes in the month of Chaitra. On this day Lord Rama was born and on this day Chaitra Navratri concludes.
