Indo-China LAC talks have collapsed and both sides are not ready to change their position

- During the talks, India asked to discuss other areas but China is not ready for that: Indian Army officials

Stating that the Indian Army has now begun to strengthen its position on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, the Indian military commanders in Ladakh said that India had made constructive suggestions for other areas as well but Chinese officials agreed. Did not even make any far-sighted suggestions for it. As a result the talks collapsed.

The talks, which took place on Sunday in Moldo-Garrison, China, ended at 4 p.m. This was the thirteenth round of talks. During the talks, Indian officials made it clear to the Chinese during discussions with Chinese officials about the LAC in East Ladakh that the situation over the LAC was the result of repeated violations of bilateral agreements by China.

Therefore, China must take appropriate action on other ideas to maintain peace and sincerity on the LAC. This is in line with the discussions held between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries in Dushanbe. In which the ministers of both the countries agreed that both the parties must resolve the issue at the earliest.

On the other hand, the PLA's "Western Theater Command" on Monday morning started making allegations against India. A spokesman for China's People's Liberation Army claimed that "continuous efforts are being made by China to resolve the border dispute and calm the situation there." And in doing so, China's heartfelt desire to resolve the dispute has also been shown.

"On the other hand, there are unreasonable and unrealistic demands from India. So difficulties arise in negotiations. Therefore, instead of properly assessing the situation, it is intensifying the Indo-China border dispute, ”said a Chinese PLA spokesperson.

According to Indian sources, India had insisted during the talks on maintaining the April 2020 timeline, but China did not seem ready to agree to it.
