Prosecutors may take moments giving power of attorney with an affidavit

Mumbai: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, who mysteriously disappeared after a ransom and atrocity case was registered, is suspected to be in Chandigarh. His information can be obtained from the affidavit and power of attorney filed by Paramhir Singh with the investigating commission.

The then Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh was replaced after an explosive device was found near the residence of businessman Mukesh Ambani. Parambir later accused Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of recovering Rs 100 crore. Apart from this, Parambir Singh was also booked for ransom and atrocity.

Then Parambir Singh disappeared. They did not appear in court. He was rumored to have fled abroad. The state government had set up a commission under the guidance of retired judge Kailash Chandiwal to probe the accused against Parambir.

Meanwhile, Parambir Singh's lawyer has given a power of attorney to the Chandiwal Commission against the affidavit, which is believed to have been made in Chandigarh. It has been stated that Mahesh Panchal will be present before the commission from Parambir. Parambir Singh is also said to have said that he did not have any evidence.
