Difficult to get hard immunity against Delta variant ઃ study

The second wave of Corona seen in Delhi this year shows that it is difficult to get hard immunity against the Delta variant, an international team of scientists said at the end of a study. According to the report, published in the journal Science, the delta variant has a 20 to 30 percent higher transmission potential than the SARS Cove-2.

The study was conducted by the National Center for Disease Control, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB) as well as the University of Cambridge and Imperial College (London) and the University of Copenhagen.

Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry has said that more than 100 crore doses of vaccine have been given to the states. However, the states have 103 million doses unused.

In the last three hours, 12.5 new cases of corona have been reported in India. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 2,50,8,8. According to figures released by the Union Health Ministry, the national recovery rate has gone up to 8.05 per cent. એ

However, the death toll from the corona has risen to 2,31,319 so far, with six more people dying from the corona in the last three hours. The number of active cases has come down to 2,09,8. This is the lowest number of cases in the last 213 days.

The daily positive rate has been 1.6 per cent. . While the weekly positive rate has been 1.6 percent. So far, the number of doses of the vaccine has crossed 2.15 crore. In the last 3 hours, 11,50,18 tests were done on Corona. At the same time, the total number of corona tests in the country has increased to 2,6,8,6.

Out of the 9 deaths in the last 3 hours, 12 deaths have occurred in Haryana, 2 in Kerala and 5 in Maharashtra. The death toll in Maharashtra was 1,3,308, followed by Karnataka at 6.5, Tamil Nadu at 2.3, Kerala at 2.3, Delhi at 3.06, Uttar Pradesh at 2.7 and West Bengal at 12.5.
