Today, for the second day in a row, petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 3 paise. As a result, petrol and diesel prices have reached new heights across the country.

Diesel prices have been hiked by a total of Rs 6.5 per liter since September 4. Diesel prices have been hiked 12 times since September 8. On the other hand, petrol prices have been hiked by a total of Rs 6.5 per liter since September 4. Petrol prices have been hiked 12 times since September 8.

After today's hike, the price of a liter of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 102.15 and a liter of diesel to Rs 7.5. In Mumbai, on the other hand, a liter of petrol has gone up by Rs 111.05 and a liter of diesel by Rs 101.5.

In most parts of the country, the price of petrol has gone up to over Rs 100. Now the price of diesel has crossed Rs 100 in 12 states. These 12 states include Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka and Leh. There was no change in petrol and diesel prices on October 16 and 17.

Petrol and diesel prices vary from state to state as VAT rates vary from state to state. International crude oil prices rose to ૬ 2.31.

. The country's state-owned oil marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have started raising diesel prices from September 4 and petrol from September 4.

Earlier, petrol prices were hiked by Rs 11.5 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.15 per liter from May 4 to July 15.
