As China increased its troops on the Ladakh border, India deployed K-3 Vajra cannons

Ladakh, Dt

Many of India's efforts to ease tensions with China in eastern Ladakh have been hit hard by China's actions. As China continues to change its strategy in eastern Ladakh, India has finally deployed K-4 Vajra artillery along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh to counter China. On the other hand, Army Chief General Narwane said that amid the peace talks and discussions to withdraw troops, China's significant increase in the number of its troops from the eastern Ladakh and the northern front to India's Western Command was worrisome. In addition, China is increasing its troop numbers. India has also deployed Howitzer K-3 diamond cannons in Ladakh to give a scathing response to China.

On the tense situation between India and China in eastern Ladakh, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane said, "In the second week of October, the 16th round of talks between India and China will be held and the areas from which to withdraw troops will be discussed." For these talks, the Indian government has identified 12 locations on the LAC where a settlement needs to be reached between the two armies. The Indian Army has decided to resolve all the disputed border issues at once instead of resolving them all at once.

The 16th round of talks between the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army on July 31 succeeded in resolving the dispute over Gogra Heights. In the same way, India is now ready to raise all the issues against the Chinese military one by one instead of raising them all at once. The 13th phase of talks between the two armies is now to take place. Commander-level talks between India and China will focus on removing obstacles in the hot springs near Kongka La, Damchok and maintaining patrolling rights in Depsang.

Only time will tell how successful these negotiations will be. This is because China has been constantly changing its moves in the midst of peace talks and has taken steps such as infiltrating Indian territory and increasing the number of troops on the border to provoke the Indian military. "China has increased the number of its troops from the eastern Ladakh and the northern front to our eastern command," General Narwane said. To counter China, India has also deployed K-4 Vajra howitzer cannons at an altitude of 12,000 to 15,000 feet in the mountainous areas of eastern Ladakh. It is deployed there to test the firepower of artillery against China in high mountainous areas. India does not want to leave any stone unturned in its preparations against China. The first regiment of K-3 Vajra Howitzer cannons has been deployed on the eastern Ladakh border.

The Indian Army has not included any heavy artillery since the Bofors cannon in 19 years. From that point of view, the inclusion of K-2 Vajra 100 cannons in the army is very important. This is an automatic artillery gun. This means that these cannons do not need to be towed by any other truck or other vehicle. It has wheels like a tank and can run from desert to mountainous areas. Vajra cannon has a range of 4 km. Is. It can attack from all sides on zero radius. A 5 kg bullet can be fired from a 20 mm cannon of 12 mm / 2 caliber. This cannon is capable of firing three bullets in 15 seconds. Its powerful engine can run it at a speed of 5 km per hour. It has a crew of five soldiers, protected by strong armor like a tank. This cannon is 90% indigenous.
