The Haryana government is ready to conduct an impartial inquiry into the entire Karnal case

Clashes broke out between farmers and police in Karnal

If the farmers are found guilty in the investigation, strict action will be taken against them: Anil Vij

Chandigarh: The state government is ready to conduct an independent probe into last month's clash between farmers and police in Karnal, Haryana Power Minister Anil Vijay said. However, he warned the farmers that they would face stern action if found guilty.

VJ said the government was ready to probe the entire Karnal chapter, including the controversial remarks of an IAS officer Ayush Sinha and the lathicharge on farmers. The minister made it clear that no one should be hanged without investigation because someone is demanding it. Farmers are protesting outside the district headquarters after the baton charge. Farmers are protesting against the August 28 baton charge.

Ten people were injured in the baton charge when police used force to stop them from advancing on a BJP program in Karnal. His main demand is related to IAS officer Ayush Sinha. An audiotape of Sinha has come out in which he says that if farmers break security, their heads will be blown off.

Sinha has been replaced following protests by farmers. He was earlier the SDM of Karnal. However, the peasant leaders believe that this change is not a punishment. "We are ready for an impartial inquiry but this inquiry will not be related to former SDM of Karnal Ayush Sinha but will be of the entire Karnal chapter," Vijay told reporters in Ambala.
