The corona virus will stay with us for a long time: World Health Organization

Corona announces emergency lifting in Japan after six months

The World Health Organization will send a team of 50 scientists back to China to investigate the origin of the corona virus.

WASHINGTON: With more than two million new cases of corona reported worldwide, the total number of corona cases rose to 333,97,307, while the total death toll from corona rose to 47,73,1૨3 with 3,513 deaths. The total number of corona cases in the USA is 43,947,764 while the death toll is 7,09,192.

The highest deaths were in Texas and California at 64,659 and 68,944, respectively. Texas, California and New York reported an average of more than 5,000 new cases of corona.

Poonam Khetrapal Singh, regional director of the World Health Organization's South-East Region, said in an interview that the corona virus would continue to spread for a long time.

In the long run corona epidemics will turn into corona epidemics but the basis depends on how much resistance to corona infection has developed in the community either by infection or by the corona vaccine. "Instead of trying to control the virus, we should try to control it," he said.

The World Health Organization has formed a team of 50 scientists to re-examine the origin of the corona in China and elsewhere. The team includes experts in lab security, biosecurity, geneticists and animal diseases. Meanwhile, for the first time in six months, Japan has announced the lifting of the Koro emergency so that the economy can recover if the infection slows down.
