Modi, Mamata, Poonawala among the 100 most influential people of the time

WASHINGTON: Time magazine has released a list of the world's 100 most influential people in 2021. Among them are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mamata Banerjee and Adar Punawala, CEO of the Serum Institute, which supplies Corona's vaccine Covishield. The list was unveiled on Wednesday. They include world leaders such as US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Surprisingly, the list also includes Taliban co-founder Mullah Abdul Gani Baradar as one of the most influential people. Other global leaders on the list include former US President Donald Trump, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Megan.

Time magazine has published a list of 100 most influential people in the world, including their names and their work. Time magazine has claimed that two international think tanks have said that India has drifted away from democracy under Modi's supervision. According to Time Magazine, Mamata Banerjee won the Bengal Assembly elections against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP's money and manpower. Coming out of poverty, Mamata worked as a stenographer as well as a milk booth vendor and worked hard to reach the CM. However, it is said that Mamata Banerjee is the Trinamool Congress.
