Less than 50,000 new cases of corona infection in the country for two consecutive days

New Delhi, September 8, 2021, Wednesday

The news of relief for troubled India is that the number of Koro infections is steadily declining. According to the figures released in the last three hours, only 150 cases have been reported. In addition, 4 people have died. For the second day in a row, less than 20,000 cases of corona infection have been reported. The number of active cases of corona is also steadily declining. At present, there are only 20 active cases in the country.

The reason for the decline in cases of corona infection is the improvement seen in some hotspot states like Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Earlier, the number of transition cases in Kerala was high, so the figure was also high at the national level. At one time, more than 60 per cent of the total cases of corona in India came from Kerala alone.

Experts believe that immunity among Indians is on the rise after facing a severe wave of corona in April and May. More than 20 million people in the country have been vaccinated who have taken one or two vaccine doses. Vaccines have also been shown to have a predictable effect, leading to a reduction in coronary heart disease. The recovery rate is currently rising to 6.5 per cent. The weekly positivity rate is less than 3 per cent for the last three months while the daily positivity rate is 1.6 per cent.
