JEE-Main result announced ઃ ૪૪ 100th percentile of students

In the Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) held this year, a record nine candidates have secured 100 percentile and 12 candidates have topped the list, the National Testing Agency said in a statement.

The result of this important examination was announced at midnight on Tuesday. However, the website crashed for several hours after the results were announced. It may be mentioned that last year 3 candidates got 100 percentile.

The results of 30 students have been suspended for misconduct and they will not be able to appear for the exam for three years. The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted four times a year from the current year. The first exam was held in February and the second in March. The third exam was held between July 20 and 6 and the fourth between August 3 and September 4.

The exam was conducted in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

A total of 4.5 candidates appeared in the four editions of JEE-Main. A total of 4.5 lakh students appeared for the four editions. A total of 4.5 lakh men and 2.50 lakh women appeared for the exam.

The ranks have been declared keeping in view the best scores of all the four examinations. This examination was conducted at 3 centers in 3 cities. Of these, 14 centers were in countries other than India. These 14 centers include Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore and Kuwait.

Among the 12 students who passed in the first place are one from Karnataka, one from Bihar, four from Andhra Pradesh, three from Rajasthan, two from Delhi, two from Uttar Pradesh, two from Telangana, one from Punjab and one from Chandigarh.
