New Delhi: Taliban militants once attacked civilians in Afghanistan, but now a terrorist group called IS has started attacking the Taliban. The ISA opened fire on Sunday in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. More than 35 Taliban were killed and several wounded.

According to the Amak News Agency, three separate blasts took place in Jalalabad on Saturday. The Taliban were traveling in a pickup truck when they were bombed by IS. As many as 35 Taliban were killed in the attack while several others were injured who have been taken to hospital for treatment.

The bombings are the largest in Afghanistan since the United States withdrew its troops from the country on August 30. Both the Taliban and IS are terrorist organizations.

And both have Sunni Islamic fighters. However, the two are currently facing off against each other. Because there is an ongoing dispute between the two over ideology and strategy. The Haqqani network is also reported to be attacking the Taliban. The move is currently in the midst of a civil war-like situation in Afghanistan and attacks are on the rise.
