IGI airport alert after phone threat

- Terrorism is knocking on the door of Delhi

- At 10:30 pm on Thursday, the Ranhola police station in Greater Delhi and on Friday morning received similar threatening calls.

A phone threatening to blow up a London-bound flight from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport was received at the Delhi Police's Ranhola headquarters, and then at the IGI Airport-based security police. Following the call, which was received at 10.30 pm on Thursday, the police have been on high alert in the airport and surrounding areas following the call received on Friday morning.

Both phones were reminiscent of the twin-towers that were blown up in the United States on 9/11 (2001). Not only that but the terrorist also threatened to occupy the Delhi airport.

After this, the operation to trace this phone has been carried out immediately and from above, it has started working to find and catch the potential terrorists. In addition, he has sent messages to the passengers that they should arrive ahead of time so that their vehicles can be fully inspected. However, doing so will not only waste the time of the pilgrims, but also check their vehicles.

Police also launched an investigation into the entire IGI airport area with sniffer dogs and mechanical devices.
