Air Force finds MRSAM missile system, capable of destroying everything within a radius of 70 KM

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh added the first unit of the Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) to the Air Force unit at Jaisalmer. This missile is capable of stacking the enemy at a radius of 70 km. The system also has an interceptor with advanced radar, command and control, mobile launcher and radio frequency seeker. The missile was jointly developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Israel's IAI. It also includes other defense companies from India and Israel. MRSAM will be used by all three Indian armies and the Israel Defense Force.

The MRSAM system can destroy any incoming fighter plane, helicopter, UAV, sub sonic and supersonic cruise missile. The missile is capable of destroying multiple targets within a radius of 70 km. The missile is powered by a rocket motor based on indigenous technology.
