Weapons thrown from drones seized at Samba, search operation conducted by army and police

Two pistols, five magazines and cartridges were recovered from Babbar Nala in Jammu's Samba district on Friday. Police and army personnel then cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Drone movements were observed in the area since late Thursday night. It was suspected that the weapons were dropped by the drone. These weapons are likely to be delivered to terrorists.

Investigations were carried out by the police in every corner of the entire area after the drone’s movements were noticed in the entire area. Meanwhile, a suspicious object was found in Babbar Nala. During the investigation 2 pistols, 5 magazines, an empty pipe like backpack and IED, 12 cartridges were found. A search operation is being conducted in the area by a team of police and army.

Plan of attack in Jammu

According to intelligence reports, the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are planning to carry out an attack in Jammu city with the help of IEDs. There is a conspiracy to target religious places. A high alert has been issued in Jammu after intelligence agencies received input from Pakistan-backed militant groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba about plans to attack temples to spread sectarian tensions.
