The arrest of a legislator, MP or minister does not violate the constitutional provision

Under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code, violators of the law can be arrested by a state agency. All citizens of the country are bound to obey the law. Criminal proceedings cannot be instituted against persons holding constitutional positions like High Court and Supreme Court Judge, Governor, President, Election Commissioner, Chairman of UPSC.

In his complaint, Sudhakar said that Uddhav Thackeray is in the constitutional position of Chief Minister of the state. His insult is an insult to the entire state.

Rane said during the BJP's Jana Aashirwad Yatra that it was a shame that the Chief Minister did not know how many years had passed since independence. During the speech, he was seen asking the details behind this. I would slap loudly if I were there. Rane also knocked on the court door to avoid arrest, but the court refused to grant him immediate relief and asked him to follow proper procedure.
