The Prime Minister met the athletes, crushed Neeraj, fed ice to Sindhu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met Indian athletes playing in the Tokyo Olympics in the capital. The Indian athletes performed brilliantly at the Tokyo Olympics, which ended a few days ago. India won a total of seven medals at the Olympics, including Neeraj Chopra's gold medal. This is India's best performance in the Olympics so far. Earlier, India had won six medals at the London Olympics.

During his visit to Neeraj Chopra today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi fed Neeraj a hearty meal, while in the women's badminton competition, medalist P.V. Gave an ice cream party to Indus. In the Olympic history of India, P.V. Sindhu is the only player in the country to win two medals in badminton.

Earlier, Modi had invited all the Indian athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics to participate in a flag waving function at Red Fort on the eve of Independence Day. Then on August 15, Modi met all the players for breakfast.

The Prime Minister also fulfilled his promise in the meantime. Before leaving for the Tokyo Olympics, Prime Minister Modi told Sindhu that if he won the medal, he (Modi) would feed him ice cream. During today's visit, the Prime Minister gave an ice cream party to Sindhu as promised.
