The lowest daily corona case in India in 15 days is 9000

Corona cases in India have declined significantly. On Tuesday, 4,308 new cases of corona were reported, the lowest number in the last 15 days. With this, the total cases of Corona have crossed 2.15 crore. Active cases also fell below 2.5 lakh, the lowest in 15 days. The total death toll in the country has crossed 6.5 lakh with 3 more deaths.

The health ministry said the number of active cases in the country had dropped by 19.50 in the last four hours. A total of more than 2.11 crore patients have been cured in the country so far. Meanwhile, half of the total cases of corona in the country in the last seven days have been reported in Kerala, the Center said on Tuesday. In the last two weeks, there has been an increase in daily cases of corona in nine districts of nine states, including 11 in Kerala and seven in Tamil Nadu. The weekly positivity rate in 9 districts of 11 states is more than 10%. Of the total cases of corona in the country in the last seven days, 51.31 per cent have been reported in Kerala, which is a matter of concern.

Meanwhile, more than 3 lakh pregnant women in the country have been vaccinated against corona since August 4, out of which more than 2.09 lakh women were given the first dose while 9 women were given both doses, the government said in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. So far, more than 21 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given to people in the country under the National Vaccination Campaign.
