Corona's mixed vaccine is currently being studied around the world. Scientists hope that giving 2 different vaccine doses can improve coronary immunity. In the midst of all this, the results of a study in India have also come up which show positive results regarding mixed vaccine results.

A study by the Indian Council of Medical (ICMR) found that the first dose of Covishield and the second dose of Covacin showed better immunity against the virus. The study was conducted in May and June in Uttar Pradesh during the current year. The study found that the combination of 2 different vaccines based on the adenovirus vector is effective against corona as well as against different variants of the virus.

The study also suggested that the mixed vaccine would help alleviate the shortage of vaccines and also eliminate the misconceptions and hesitations that people have about different vaccines.

What did the study find?

98 people were involved in this study. Of these, 40 were given both doses of Covishield and 40 were given both doses of Covacin. While 18 people were given the first dose of Covishield and the second dose of Covacin.
