Srinagar: A BJP leader has been shot dead by militants in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The incident came to light recently when a BJP sarpanch and his wife were also shot dead by terrorists. The security of the leaders has been beefed up and the search for the attacking terrorists is on.

National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has expressed outrage over the incident, condemned the terrorist attack and offered condolences to the family of the slain leader. The BJP said that Javed Ahmed Dar, the local president of Homshalibagh in Kulgam, was killed by terrorists. We condemn this incident. Currently, BJP leaders in Kashmir are more targeted by terrorists.

Just a few days ago, BJP leader and Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool Dar and his wife were shot dead by terrorists. Ghulam Dar was also the district president of the BJP's Kisan Morcha.
