Taliban re-attack Panjshir province with US departure, heavy firing on both sides

With the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Taliban have now attacked Panjshir province to win.

The Northern Alliance, which is fighting the Taliban, has claimed that Taliban militants tried to infiltrate the Panjshir Valley on Monday night. Meanwhile, gunfire erupted from both sides, killing at least seven to eight Taliban members. While two of our goons have also been killed.

The Taliban, which has taken over all the provinces in Afghanistan, has not yet been able to dominate the Punjab province. Here, the Northern Alliance, led by Ahmed Masood, is fighting the Taliban.

Along with Ahmed Shah Massoud, former Afghan Vice President and Ashraf Ghani, who declared himself acting president after the ouster of Ashraf Ghani, is also pushing the Taliban out of Panjshir province. In the last few days, the Taliban have tried to infiltrate here but have been thwarted every time. It was also recently claimed that hundreds of Taliban militants have been killed here.

However, efforts are also being made for reconciliation between the two parties. However, it has not been successful yet.
