Appeal to send video speeches to the leaders of 150 countries for the UN General Assembly instead of coming face to face

WASHINGTON: Democrats and Republicans have clashed over the issue of children wearing masks to protect them from corona infection. Democrat President Joe Biden has asked the education minister to examine options for filing legal action against Republican governors who oppose wearing masks and other measures to control Corona.

In response, the Department of Education indicated the possibility of using the civil rights wing to counter Florida, Texas, Iowa, and other Republican states' no-mask policy. Wearing masks is not mandatory in public schools in these Republican states.

President Bide asked Education Minister Miguel Cardona to analyze all available tools that could be used against states that fail to protect students against corona. Biden said in his order that some state governments have adopted policies and laws that interfere with schools' efforts to keep students safe when they come to class.

Some states have even tried to block school officials from taking such safety measures. The federal government has similarly slammed schools for turning masks into political battlegrounds. The Department of Education said on its website that policies banning the wearing of masks are tantamount to discrimination.

The agency may launch an investigation if the students are unable to attend school due to insecurity caused by the corona infection. In this case, the parents of the students and the public will respond if they complain of civil rights.

Leaders of 150 governments, on the other hand, are scheduled to address the UN General Assembly in New York next month. If leaders from 150 countries come to New York to take part in the event, it is likely to be a Corona superspreader event. The note, issued by the US, urges all important events to be held in a virtual format.

In New Zealand, on the other hand, the number of corona cases has risen to 21, raising concerns among the government. There are reports that New Zealand is now considering giving corona vaccine to teenagers between the ages of twelve and fifteen. Prime Minister Jacinda Arden said the mystery of how Corona's case happened has been solved.

On August 7, a man from Sydney developed symptoms of corona two days later. And a week later he was hospitalized. The virus has not spread from the community. Strict measures will now be taken in the areas where the person has gone to encircle the virus and destroy it. Currently 1000 contacts of positive cases are being checked.

The Philippine government has allocated Rs 45.3 billion (8 899 million) in its 2022 budget to provide a booster dose of corona vaccine to citizens to fight the corona epidemic. A decision on whether to give a booster dose in the US is also expected next month.
