According to the girl's parents, the girl had gone to the cemetery in front of their house in the old Nangal area of ​​south-west Delhi to fetch cold water from a cooler. However, about an hour later, Radhe Shyam, the priest of the crematorium, and two or three people called the girl's mother to the crematorium and showed her body saying that the child had died due to electric shock while fetching water from the cooler. Instead of calling the police, he tricked the mother into burying the girl in the cemetery. The girl's parents have accused Pujari Radhe Shyam and others of raping and killing the girl. Police have arrested four people, including Radheshyam, in the incident.
