Police need to have video footage to send currency to the driver

The Ministry of Road Transport changed the rules

Digital cameras to be installed at four roads in 132 cities of the country, including four in Gujarat

New Delhi: Traffic police will not be able to send currency to a driver just by taking a photo if he breaks the traffic rules. The Ministry of Road Transport has made changes in the rules for strict adherence to traffic rules.

Now the police have to compulsorily record the footage to send the currency to the driver who breaks the traffic rules. For this, the transport department and the state police will install digital devices at the four roads. The Ministry of Road Transport has selected 132 cities for the project.

Currently a photo violating the driver's rule is sent along with the currency. If in court the driver does not admit his guilt and claims that he has not broken any rules. Which is a waste of police and court time. The recording will now be made by the police so that it can be presented as evidence in court. Which can be presented in court. Due to which the driver will not be able to acquit himself.

Four cities in Gujarat including Ahmedabad, 17 cities including Kanpur, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, seven cities including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjan in Madhya Pradesh, five cities including Jaipur, Udaipuri, Kota in Rajasthan, 19 including Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Nagpur in Maharashtra Digital devices will be installed in the city so that drivers can be recorded.
