PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Parvati temple in Somnath today, will give gifts of many projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give many gifts to the people of Gujarat on August 20. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 5 projects at Somnath Temple through video conferencing. He will also lay the foundation stone of Parvati temple in Somnath temple. The temple will be constructed at a cost of Rs 30 crore.

The sanctum sanctorum of the Parvati temple will be 380 square meters. The dance pavilion of the temple will be 1,250 square meters. The temple will be built in Sompura Salat style.

Renovation of Ahilyabai temple

Along with laying the foundation stone of the temple, Prime Minister Somnath will also inaugurate the resort built in the temple premises. The Ahilyabai temple next to the Somnath temple has also been renovated and the Prime Minister will also dedicate that temple to the country. Rs 3.5 crore has been spent for the redevelopment of this temple. The temple was built by Rani Ahilyabai of Indore. It was later reduced to rubble. The entire old temple complex has been completely redeveloped to protect the pilgrims as well as increase its capacity.

There was a walkway behind the temple

A 1.5 km long walkway has been constructed at a cost of Rs 45 crore between the sea and the Somnath temple just behind the Somnath temple on the shores of the Arabian Sea. The land of Goddess Parvati's temple will be worshiped in the temple premises which will be done by Prime Minister Modi. A marble Parvati temple will be built there. The event will be held at the Ram Mandir Auditorium in Somnath. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will also be present. Apart from that, Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will be virtually involved.

After the death of Keshubhai Patel, the Board of Trustees has appointed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Chairman of the Somnath Trust.
