Pakistan is our second home: the Taliban

Kabul, Ta. 3

The real face of the Taliban is coming to the fore after occupying Afghanistan. A Taliban spokesman described Pakistan as a second home for the Taliban and unsolicitedly advised India to take a positive stance on the Kashmir issue. "Pakistan is a neighboring country and a second home for us," said Jaibullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman. We want to strengthen trade and strategic relations with him. He also favored good relations with India. "When it comes to religion, we are traditionally connected," Mujahid told Pakistani news channel ARY News. The people of both the countries have got along well with each other, so we want to strengthen relations with Pakistan. We are moving forward to create a stable government in the country. "We want to establish good relations with all countries of the world, including India," he added. The Taliban will not allow the use of Afghan land against any country. On the issue of India-Pakistan relations, he said the two countries should sit together and resolve issues. India needs to take a positive stance on the Kashmir issue.
