Prime Minister Narendra Modi may lay the foundation stone of one more temple next week. The foundation stone of the first memorial Baba Somnath's Adya Shakti Devi Parvati temple in the twelfth Jyotirlinga will be laid through virtual means. Along with laying the foundation stone of the temple, Prime Minister Somnath will also inaugurate the circuit built around the temple premises.

The construction of the temple of Goddess Bhagwati Shakti Paramba Parvati with white marble at a cost of Rs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is the chairman of the Somnath Trust.

The Somnath Temple is located on the very shores of the Arabian Sea. The view of the ocean floating from there is very beautiful. To make it more beautiful, the government has built a 1.5 km long walkway at a cost of Rs 45 crore. Tourists, devotees and locals can enjoy the divine atmosphere of the temple and nature at the same time. The ringing of the temple bells and the roar of the sea together create a divine atmosphere.

The Parvati temple is still in ruins

Reconstruction of the Somnath Temple began on May 8, 1950, under the leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the country's first post-independence Home Minister, after seeing not 1-2 but 17 demolitions. The first President of the country, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, established the Jyotirlinga there on May 11, 1951 and dedicated it to the nation on December 1, 1955. However, construction of the temple was completed in 1962.

However, the historic Parvati temple is still in ruins on campus. It is like a platform about 15 feet high. According to the Temple Trust, this historic structure has been kept in that condition as an honesty and a monument to the place.

The idol of Goddess Parvati installed in this temple is now in the sanctum sanctorum of Bhootbhavan Bhagwan Somnath temple. The Goddess Parvati temple will be built at the mythical place near the Yajna in the Somnath temple complex.
