IS-Khorasan, which claimed responsibility for Thursday's suicide attack on Kabul airport in war-torn Afghanistan, is also planning attacks in India. IS-Khoras has been accused of plotting an attack on Kabul airport from Pakistan. Meanwhile, sources said that Jaish militant Masood Azhar had sought the help of the Taliban for the attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

The notorious terrorist group called IS-Khorasan or IS-K is on the verge of spreading jihad in Central Asia and India. Amir Mawlawi Aslam Farooqi, the face of ISIS and the head of ISIS in Pakistan, is believed to be the mastermind behind the Kabul attack. This is the same terrorist who attacked a gurdwara in Kabul, killing eight people. He was arrested by the Afghan National Security Director on April 4, 2020. During the investigation, he also acknowledged Pakistan's role in the bombing plot.

Intelligence sources say IS ideologically seeks to establish caliphate rule in India. Among them, some youths from Kerala and Mumbai have joined IS. This violent group has become the center of attraction among the radical people. Concerned about the group's recruitment plans, the sources said that a number of IS cells in India could be activated if reverse osmosis starts.

The sources added that the militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based militant group notorious for attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, were moving to Helmand. When Jaish terrorist Masood Azhar went to Kandahar in the third week of August, the Taliban took control of Kandahar. Masood Azhar met with Taliban leader Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar and sought his help in carrying out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
