Crops for study from 2015 to 2019. And 40 youths who had gone to Bangladesh returned with terror training

Srinagar: Investigative agencies engaged in counter-terrorism operations in Pakistan have found during an investigation that many youths from Kashmir visit Pakistan on the basis of passports and valid documents and then illegally infiltrate India as terrorists.

An investigation into the shooting death of terrorist Shakir Altaf Bhatt has revealed that he went to Pakistan for studies in 2018 on the basis of a valid passport and returned as a terrorist.

Similarly, many young people have not returned after going to Pakistan-Bangladesh for study or visit or have gone missing after returning. During the investigation, the investigating agencies obtained information on the passports issued between 2015 and 2019. It turned out that 40 of them went to Pakistan and Bangladesh for study and then infiltrated as trained terrorists.

In addition, there are 100 Kashmiri youths who have gone to Pakistan on short-term visas in the last three years but have not yet returned or gone missing after returning. New details are coming out in the investigation after Shakeel Bhatt of Bandipore was shot dead on July 24. Shakeel Bhatt was plotting to assassinate Usman Majeed, a politician from Ugravagi.

From April 1 to April 6, some youths from Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag districts went to Pakistan legally but have not returned yet. So the security agencies are suspecting that a new conspiracy is being hatched by a cross-border sleeper cell and is being run by Pakistan's spy agency ISI.
