India should go to war if China does not evacuate Indian territories: Swami

Unsolicited advice to BJP MP Subramaniam Swamy's government

India should force China to go back to the original position of 1993 to show that this is not the India of 1962: Subramaniam

New Delhi: Tensions between India and China on the eastern Ladakh border have been high since May 2020. Amid claims by the Center that troops from both the countries are still facing each other on some front fronts and that China has not occupied any territory of India, BJP MP Subramaniam Swamy has advised the Center not to vacate Indian territories and demarcate the Line of Actual Control under the 1993 agreement. India should go to war with China if it does not go back to LAC).

The BJP leader said India should focus only on resolving the current border dispute with China and not provoke the neighboring country by talking about Hong Kong, Taiwan and Tibet.

Releasing a book titled 'Blinkers of How Will the World Counter China', Swamy said that China is an extraordinarily important and dangerous challenge for India. Therefore, India should formulate its strategy in such a way that it will eventually bring China back to its place in the face of the threat.

India should tell China that if it does not return to its original status under the 1993 agreement, we will go to war. "I believe that India should tell the Chinese that we are ready to go to war with you if you do not go back to the original situation of 1993," Swamy added. India must go to war with the Chinese if China is not ready to withdraw voluntarily.

China should be taught the lesson that we are no longer the India of 1962 and can face them vigorously. Claiming that China has occupied our land by passing the LAC, the BJP MP said that India should only focus on its land dispute with China. We need to see where China has gone wrong. He has crossed the LAC and occupied our land.
