Washington, Sunday 22 August 2021

Hurricane Henry reached Long Island, Connecticut, south-east Massachusetts on Saturday night. Heavy rains could also cause flooding in New England.

According to scientists, Hurricane Henry has blown westward. If it continues in this direction, the situation will worsen in the East Long Island instead of New England. Earlier, Hurricane Bob in 191 killed 14 people here. There has been no new storm since then.

Hurricane Henry has warned of landslides in Hartford, Connecticut and Albaja, a large part of the northeast. The entire area stretches as far as New York and Cape Cod. Thousands of tourists are enjoying summer vacation in the Cape. So the risk is increasing. The governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Weckett, has appealed to tourists to return to the Cape.
