Forcible use of any female organ for sexual pleasure is considered rape

Kerala High Court amends definition of rape

Kochi: The Kerala High Court has said that using any part of a woman's body for forced sexual pleasure is tantamount to rape. Explaining the definition of rape, the court said that vaginal or anal penetration or oral sex by a child is also considered rape.

The court found a 40-year-old man guilty of attempting to achieve sexual pleasure by using the thighs of a minor. The court said that when we read the revised definition of rape in the Indian Penal Code, there was no doubt that the accused had tied both the legs of the victim to get sexual pleasure.

This is also considered rape, the court said. Earlier, the act of forcibly inserting a woman's vagina by a man was considered rape. But now that the law has been amended in Parliament, if any part of a woman's body is used for sexual pleasure, it is considered rape.
