Five arrested for gangraping a college student in Mysore

Mysore: A college student was gang-raped in Mysore. Five people involved in the gangrape have been arrested. All the five arrested are involved in labor work such as wiring, carpentry, driving etc.

The accused are residents of Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. One of them is a 17-year-old minor. There are a total of six accused in the case, one of whom is still absconding. The six men tried to rob a college student and his friend in Mysore.

However, they were not successful in the robbery which resulted in the young man being later beaten to death and gang-raped. The accused were coming to Mysore for some work. The victim has been in trauma since the incident and is not in a position to make a statement. He is currently undergoing medical treatment.

Police are also gathering information from a friend of the victim but he is also in an unconscious state as he was beaten. Police have received information that the accused were also involved in criminal activity in the past but it is yet to be verified.

"We will file a chargesheet in this case as soon as possible," police said. At the same time, if necessary, a special prosecutor will be appointed. The court will be given all possible help in convicting the accused as soon as possible. According to the report, a medical student was gang-raped in Mysore. The site where the incident took place is close to Mysore.

The victim was riding a bike with her friend when she was stopped by thugs on Chamunda Hills here. After which he tried to rob them, in which the young man who was not successful was beaten and the young woman was gang raped. The Karnataka minister had made an embarrassing statement in the matter so that controversy arose later he withdrew the statement.
