Encounter in Baramulla, Kashmir, security forces kill three terrorists

Three militants were killed in a clash between security forces and militants in Sopore area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Tuesday morning. HE security forces laid siege to Pethseer in Sopore on Monday night and launched a search operation for the terrorists.

In addition to the police, a joint team of 4-RR and CRPF's 18th, 19th and 2nd battalions cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, which was a great success for the security forces on Tuesday morning.

Panic erupted between the two groups as security forces began firing indiscriminately at the approaching terrorists. Three militants were killed when the jawans started firing back.

Police said mobile internet service was shut down across the diocese during the search for terrorists in the area and the subsequent clashes with them. Also, train service between Srinagar and Baramulla was suspended.

Kashmir zone IGP Vijay Kumar said 101 militants have been killed so far this year.

The army, which is engaged in a campaign to wipe out militants from the Kashmir Valley, also on Monday called for the elimination of two militants.

In a related incident in Srinagar city, a jawan was injured when terrorists bombed a CRPF bunker in Idgah area of ​​the city.
