Boys and girls should not be educated together: Jamiat Ulema is the president of Hind

New Delhi, 31st August 2021, Tuesday

The Jamiat Ulema, an influential Muslim organization, has been embroiled in controversy following a statement made by Hind president Arshad Madani on education.

He says that boys and girls should be educated separately, not together. In his view, the practice of co-education must be abolished to avoid immoral conduct.

He has even appealed to non-Muslims to stay away from co-education as well.

He also told people of other religions that women and men should stay away from education at the same time. So as to keep them away from immoral conduct. He further said that there is a need to focus on opening separate schools and colleges for girls.

At the same time, he alleged that all the recent incidents of mob lynching with Muslims are part of a conspiracy and such incidents are being carried out to unite the majority.
