Border posting of first ITBP women officers


For the first time in the rank of officer in ITBP

Newly appointed officer Prakriti's father salutes and congratulates Inspector, daughter in force

Mussoorie: L.A.C. between India and China. ITBP protecting the Line of Actual Control. (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) has given its first two female officers postings at the border.

Both the women officers have been given postings on the rank of Assistant Commandant after completing their training at the Training Academy in Mussoorie. ITBP at Mussoorie A passing out parade of 53 officers and commission ceremonies were held at the Officers Training Academy.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was the chief guest at the event. Chief Minister Dhami and Director General of ITBP S.L. Deshwale has published a 680-page History of ITBP. A book of names was released. In which various known and unknown matters of this force have been written.

Both Prakriti and Diksha Kumar, who are commissioned today, have the commission rank on the shoulders of Chief Minister Dhami and DG. Were placed by Deshwal. Prakriti's father is a retired Air Force officer. While Diksha's father Kamlesh Kumar is working as an inspector in ITBP. After the initiation passing out parade, her father saluted her and then greeted her daughter.
