Srinagar, Saturday 14 August 2021

Terrorist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir, which have been using drones continuously, will now get a stern response. The army has deployed Gatling anti-drone guns at the LoC ahead of Independence Day. This gun will take aim at the drone and break it. This special gun, made by the army, will simultaneously fire trace bullets at the drone. In Palanwala sector of Akhnoor, it has been deployed at Kaylai location at Ankushrekha.

Dealing with Pakistan's drone strikes has become a daunting task for security agencies, with the military using the above-mentioned guns in preparation.

The design of the gun is such that three Insas rifles are attached to a special type of ready-made frame. All three have the same trigger. It is built on an iron pillar, which can rotate 90 degrees. It has a tracer with bullets. The drone will look like it will fire three bullets from three guns at once. The gun will strike at a height of 200 meters, while in the opposite direction of 200 meters.
