A collision between a jeep and a trailer, killing 12 people from the same village who went out to watch

At least 12 people have been killed in a road accident in Rajasthan's Nagaur district.

According to the details obtained, all these people are residents of a small village near Ujaijan. A total of 40 people rode in three kadis on a pilgrimage. One of the jeeps collided with a trailer. A total of 12 people were killed and another six were in critical condition.

Ujaijan Collector and SP rushed to the spot after the incident. There were 18 people in the jeep that was involved in the accident.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has sent a message of condolences to the families of the deceased and also announced assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
