The suspense of leadership crisis in Karnataka remains

Decision in the hands of the party's high command: whether I am the Chief Minister or not, I will continue to work for the BJP

BENGALURU: There is still suspense over the changes in Karnataka's leadership. Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said in a statement in Bengaluru today that a decision on whether he would remain as chief minister would be taken by Monday morning.

They are currently awaiting the decision and message of the party high command. However, he assured that whether I am the Chief Minister or not, I will continue to work for the BJP for the next ten to fifteen years.

Yeddyurappa said today that a decision from the BJP high command would be taken tonight or tomorrow morning. He further added that he had submitted his resignation two months ago.

He has worked in most of the positions in the Karnataka BJP and almost no one has worked in so many positions. For which they are grateful to the central leadership. As his government completes two years on July 26, he will address the government's achievements as planned earlier and his program will be known by Monday.

Yeddyurappa said Karnataka has assembly elections in 2023 and his only goal for the next two years will be to bring the BJP back to power. If the central leadership wants, he will be the chief minister and if he is asked to resign, he will resign. Yeddyurappa has said that if no decision is taken by the party high command on the issue, they will take a decision themselves.
