- Bukanakere Siddhalingappa Yeddyurappa was born in 19.
The three-year-old leader, popularly known as BS Yeddyurappa, was sworn in as Karnataka Chief Minister four times.
- In 19, Yeddyurappa became a clerk in the social welfare department. Joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from college.
- Became an MLA for the first time in 19 and came into active politics of BJP.
- In 19th Karnataka became the president of BJP. He became Deputy Chief Minister in 2006 and Chief Minister for the first time in 2009.
- had to resign from the post of Chief Minister as his name surfaced in the Bengaluru land scam. He also had to go to jail in an illegal mining scam.
- He left BJP in 2014 and formed a party called Kalyan Janata Party, but rejoined BJP in 2014.
