Vaccination has cost Rs 9,000 crore so far, 35,000 new cases


By the end of the year there will be 135 million doses, all hope the vaccine government

483 deaths in 24 hours from Corona, total death toll 4.19 lakh, active cases drop to 4 lakh

New Delhi: The graph of daily cases of corona virus in India is coming down. The vaccination campaign has been expedited. The central government has so far spent Rs 9,725 crore on the vaccination drive, which began in mid-January this year.

In the Lok Sabha on Friday, the state health minister Dr. Bharti Praveen Pawar said that Rs 9725 crore has been spent so far in the ongoing vaccination campaign in the country. This includes the cost of purchasing the vaccine and getting it to the center and giving it to the people.

He also said that between August 2021 and December 2021, a total of 135 crore doses of corona vaccine will be available. This will help in spreading the vaccine to all the people of the country. He also said that talks were underway to import US vaccine Pfizer into India.

According to the information given by the central government in the Lok Sabha, more than 42 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given across the country so far. 54 lakh doses of vaccine have been given in just 24 hours.

On the other hand, there were 35,000 new cases of corona across the country while 483 people died due to corona. At present, the number of active cases in the country has reached 4 lakh while the total death toll has reached 4.19 lakh.

The government has said that 11 per cent of the cases of corona in the country are people under the age of 20, which means that even young people are more likely to be infected with corona.

The central government has also claimed that no definite timeline has been set for when vaccinations will be completed in the country but most people over the age of 18 are likely to be vaccinated by the end of this year.
