A new controversy has erupted over a statement made by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) president Mohan Bhagwat on Hindutva and lynching. AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi commented on Mohan Bhagwat's statement on Monday morning. "Hate is the gift of Hindutva, these criminals have got the support of the pro-Hindu government," Owaisi tweeted.

Asaduddin Owaisi wrote in a phased tweet that Bhagwat of the RSS said the lynching was anti-Hindu. These criminals may not know the difference between a cow and a buffalo but the names of Junaid, Akhlaq, Pahlu, Rakbar, Alimuddin were enough to slaughter them.

"This hatred is the gift of Hindutva," Owaisi wrote. These criminals have got the support of the pro-Hindu government. Alimuddin's assassins are given flowers at the hands of the Union Minister, and the body of Akhlaq's killer is triangulated.

"The Mahapanchayat is called in support of Asif's killers, where a BJP spokesperson asks, 'Can't we even commit murder?' Cowardice, violence and slaughter are an integral part of Godse's Hindutva ideology, and the lynching of Muslims is also a result of this ideology.

Digvijay Singh also commented

Congress leader Digvijay Singh also commented on Mohan Bhagwat's statement. Digvijay Singh wrote in a tweet that, Mohan Bhagwat ji will you give this idea to your disciples, preachers, Vishwa Hindu Parishad / Bajrang Dal workers too? Will you also give this education to Modi-Shahji and BJP Chief Minister? If you are sincere in your views, give immediate instructions to remove all those leaders in the BJP who have harassed innocent Muslims.
