AHMEDABAD: The market remained soft at the end of the trading session on the back of fresh buying by funds before the start of the June quarter results season, setting a new intraday 53129 record in the Sensex.
The Sensex rose intra-day to a new all-time high of 53,129.37 on fresh buying by funds after the start of trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
However, the market bounced back sharply on the back of a bearish sell-off from Chomer and the Sensex fell 18.82 points to close at 52861.18.
