The RSS will take the initiative to link Muslims with nationalist ideology

Chitrakoot, Ta. 9

After Mohan Bhagwat, president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated in Ghaziabad that the DNA of Hindus and Muslims is the same, it is now being speculated that the RSS will take the initiative to link Muslims with nationalist ideology.

Sources said the issue of linking Muslims to nationalist ideology was discussed in brief meetings of core group members ahead of the main meeting of All India Province Pracharaks in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. Sources said the meeting of preachers could also decide the direction of linking Hindutva with nationalist Muslims to their ideology. The change in the thinking of the Sangh is also being linked to the Bengal elections. The Sangh's top leadership has expressed satisfaction over the BJP's growing influence in Bengal, but Muslims have also expressed concern about staying away from the nationalist-minded party.

The fixed agenda is believed to have been discussed at a meeting of the core group of national executive office bearers and members on Friday. However, the discussion at the meeting was kept so tight that even the office bearers and volunteers who were arranging the meeting of the province preachers at the Dindayal Research Institute were asked to stay away from the meeting place.

Ahead of the meeting of provincial preachers, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said in Ghaziabad that Hindus and Muslims could not be separated on the basis of the method of prayer. The DNA of all Indians is the same. He also recommended uniting India, leaving aside language, province and other inequalities.
